My New Favourite Place

Having lived in Hertfordshire for longer than i care to remember,i am shocked that i've never been to Letchworth Garden City before.

It's LOVELY!

The deco cinema is AMAZING and only costs £4.50 to get in.

There are colourful lit fountains.

The pavements are really clean!

There are charity shops,a wonderful music and book shop.

Cafe's look good,'tho i haven't tried them yet.

It's my NEW FAVOUTRITE PLACE!

Very Long Day

On Monday I had a VERY LONG DAY.
A trip from my house to Epsom took just under FIVE hours instead of one and a half.
Stopped off at Richmond for charity shops and saw this barbers shop,it is just how i picture a barbers in my head.
My current book is Cesars Way by Cesar Milan, trying to get my head around the way dogs think.

Growing and Dying

I was thinking today on my walk in the woods about growing and dying.
There was a dead rabbit on the path and at first I thought,oh, just a dead rabbit. Then I thought about the whole way that the rabbit had started as a ball of cells, had grown and had ended up lying there and it just made me think about a lot of things, and the way nature works.

Saturday Jumbling

I was so excited on Saturday,it was the first jumble sale of the year at North Mymms Youth and Community Hall, one of my favourites!
I got LOADS of stuff,my fave things were a Tippy-Toes doll, and a Hats Off game.
I missed out on two beautiful metal paintboxes and an Everest Game arghhh!!!
Clothes-wise I managed to get enough new items to spruce up my outfit to my sister in laws 50th birthday party, for about 70p. Bally loafers, stripped shirt and fine wool blue cardigan...happy!
Also got a drinks fountain,an item that I'd craved after seeing Nigella Lawson using one (she likes a kitsch gadget),but i got it home and it wasn't working,i have great faith that i will reserect it though.
All in all a REALLY good haul.
